How to Dress Like Barbie

Hair
Quintessential Barbie dolls have always had blonde hair. However, as the company began expanding its markets and catering to the needs of the globe, these dolls have had a change in look. Take advantage of this, and let your hair be as they are. Now, wash your hair and condition them well. Very rarely will you see a Barbie without a hairdo. However, with so many variations, picking one would be very confusing. Pick the Ballerina look, as it pretty much resembles the older versions too. Straighten out your fringes and tuck them to the left or the right. Tie the remaining hair in a pony and curl the ends inwards, to complete the hairdo.

Make Up
Keep the make up in tones of pink, but make sure it suits your complexion. To even out the skin tone, apply a fine layer of foundation on your face, neck and back. Wear a nude pink lip gloss with glitter, and apply a little pink blush on your cheek. Color your nails and toe nails in a shade of pink, that matches your dress.

Clothes
For the Barbie ballerina look, pick a pink tutu that has a lot of net or tulle. These fabrics will give it the required volume. On top of the tutu, get a matching corset, to accentuate your waistline and make the volume of the tutu look larger than what it is. The clothes typically resemble a Barbie clothes look, and the pink will give you Barbie like femininity.

Footwear
Since this is the ballerina look in question, you will obviously have to wear ballet shoes or slippers. For the soft and feminine look, make the slippers out of satin. You can wrap your regular pumps in a pink satin cloth that rounds at the toes and crosses your foot to tie a knot at the ankle. Make sure that your footwear matches the shade of your dress.

Accessories
If you have ever bought a Barbie, you would know that she always has some accessories. A Barbie without accessories is an incomplete one. Since you are going out for a fancy dress party, carry a small pink colored classic clutch that matches your footwear and dress. Wear a tight fitting pearl necklace and accessorize your hair with small fake diamonds for the much-needed glam, which is the Barbie's defining factor.

Paris Fashion Week - Trends In Men's Fashions

If youre wondering what the trends will be later this year and into next spring, your best bet is to check in with the ongoing Fashion Week in Paris. Always indicative of what the new must have look will be, there are usually some great finds. So what did the 2010 show reveal?

Mens designer clothing is taking a slight shift towards more conservative colors. The textures, fabrics and accenting efforts more than make up for the lack of purples, bright reds and lime greens that we became familiar with in recent seasons.

Also, there are suggestions of looser fitting fabrics, too. This is true for both mens shirts, blazers and trousers, as well as denims. That middle of the road between close fitting and baggy is what should emerge in terms of whats seen on the streets. And speaking of the streets, the design labels that pull inspiration from street wear are enjoying a new surge in popularity due to some of the most visible designers on the runways.

But what about mens casual wear? Brands such as Voi are still the go-to labels. Fresh colors, quality fabrics and popular, but classic, trends rule the day in menswear. Another common denominator was the traditional black and white combinations. Updated with new designs and patterns, its back to the basics for the next season.
Mens hoodies and jumpers are always fast movers and while were still going to rock collegiate and distressed graphics, theres a new interest in differentiating between casual and weekend wear. Better fits will play a role, too.

Finally, the mens coats and jackets are all about the masculinity and sex appeal and if the shows from this weeks Paris show are any indicators, the designers have definitely found the right combination of all the elements that define an incredible mens jacket.

Indian Weding Fashions

Wedding Fashions :-

The day of your life is coming and you don't know what to wear? Want to be fashionable as you are in your daily life? Wedding dresses, just like all the other clothing, have their own fashion line. Make the most of your wedding and purchase the trendiest dress.

It's rather difficult to describe the wedding dress fashion, as every single bride has her own needs and tastes. Yet, there is one thing common to all - they want to be fashionable, therefore they choose dresses that designers offer.

A few years ago, dresses that there simple, straight and would expose brides' body, were very fashionable. No patchworks, no huge accessories. Simple and elegant dresses were in control of the industry. Today it's rather different. Brides are looking as princesses and queens.

The so called "cake" dress is extremely fashionable. The top of it sticks to the body, exposing brides' breasts and trunk, while the lover part is very wide. Even special rims are used in order to make it as wide as possible. Materials used for this lover part are usually soft and thick, so that many coats of it would create a very light effect. It looks perfect on any type of body.

Another type is similar to the one that was fashionable a few years ago. Dresses are straight and made of silk. The bride who is wearing it looks elegant and very feminine. Yet such dresses do not look very good on short brides and those who have some extra weight. You must be very careful while choosing this type.

The main difference in recent and today's fashion is patchworks. Every single dress must have at least some of those. If it's a "cake" type dress, you should choose the one that has simple lover part and patch worked upper part. The same while talking about straight wedding dresses, yet you may choose the one has both parts patch worked.

The most popular and trendy material is surely silk. It makes any bride look luxurious. Silk is so popular because the fall of it is very special and it is easy to achieve various effects with it. However, you should remember that this material is very sensitive. For example if you are planning to sit a lot, have in mind that it'll crumple.

As far as dresses are very luxurious, you should choose appropriate shoes. Don't pick the simplest ones they're totally out of fashion. Something with patchwork or ribbon would be perfect.

There can be no discussion about colors. White and that's it. Yet if you want something original, choose a dress (and shoes) with, for example golden patchworks. It'll make you shine and you'll surely look original.

Yet, the most important thing in choosing dress is that you have to like it. If they offer you a very fashionable dress and it looks perfect on you, but you don't like it - just forget about it. It is your day and no mater whether your dress is trendy or not, you must feel beautiful for yourself.
